Octopus thinks Daemi is kind of strange. Her love for Vamp is a bit disturbing, but he can get along with her.
Octopus thinks Rynn is a nice person, if a bit obsessive at times. She is awfully funny, and despite how much she can tick Mantis off, Octopus likes her.
Octopus thinks very highly of Liquid. He’s worked for a lot of people, but Liquid definitely was and is his favorite boss.
But more than that, Liquid’s a friend. Octopus trusts him, and he’s really glad that this Liquid isn’t the revenge-crazy one he saw at Shadow Moses.
Really, he’s just incredibly happy to have Liquid back.
Octopus isn’t quite sure what to think about REX, although he seems very nice for a Metal Gear.
He thinks that REX is good, or at least is trying to be, and Octopus can respect that.
Octopus likes Abby a lot. He thinks that she’s awfully nice and he’s very happy that she decided to stick around and put up with all this craziness.
He’s grown very attached to Abby, and is very protective of her. He’d never do anything to hurt her, and he almost views her as a daughter.
